We think there’s value in having a Pipehorn on every underground utility construction truck. If not for primary locating, at least to verify marks and sweep for unmarked utilities before digging. Saving time, properties, lives, etc…allowing the excavator to get home in one piece and in time for dinner.
Those crews aren’t intended to be expert “all day every day” locators, so they need something that can cover most bases for the dig site (they’re not locating miles of pipe), while being simple to operate, and rugged.
