Cable Avoidance

Every year site workers are injured due to inadvertently striking buried utilities. Our range of cable location products will help eliminate this risk on site by improving safety, whilst also helping users to accurately and quickly locate buried services. Each Cable Avoidance Tool (C.A.T.) offers a cheaper entry level device when a Precision Locator is not warranted. Cable Avoidance Tools are not designed to be the primary method of accurately locating services, but to be used as a tool for a “Peace of Mind” check prior to excavation.

Models from the leading manufacturer Radiodetection deliver fast, accurate, reliable and repeatable locate data, yet remain a cost-effective solution for any utility application. Locating Supplies Australia also offers a comprehensive range of cable location accessories and cable avoidance training courses to ensure safe operation of your equipment.
